This course examines the general principles of production and management in the modern dairy enterprise. Topics may include: mammary gland anatomy and physiology, milking management, milking systems, calves, heifers, dry cow management, fresh cow management, herd health, reproduction, facilities, and milk marketing. Prerequisites: DASC 106 and Junior standing or greater
