Dairy Herd Records I

Catalog description

This is a required course for students in the Farm and Industry Short Course and will be offered as a half semester course (Session A or B). Students will become familiar with dairy production record systems used for managing dairy cattle and dairy herds. The focus will be on dairy data acquisition, data entry, data utilization and data interpretation. The Dairy Comp software package will be utilized in depth to develop proficiency in data input and utilization.
