Catalog description

This is a required course for students in the Farm and Industry Short Course and will be offered as a half-semester course. Students will develop a better understanding of cattle behavior so that these animals can be moved safely and efficiently. Tasks to be completed cowside will be emphasized, include delivery of pharmaceutical products, assessing animal health, and treatment of health disorders that do not require veterinary intervention.
