Catalog description
This course is designed to examine the theory, concepts and technology involved in integrated pest management. The course will include pesticide characteristics, usage and safety. Non-pesticide-based pest management practices will be examined. Principals of field scouting will be examined. Emphasis will be given to the systematic integration of multiple pest management practices. This is a writing intensive course. Prerequisites: PLSC 161 or consent of instructor.
