Catalog description

This course examines the statutory basis of crime, the legal requirements surrounding the establishment of "mens rea" and legally permissible defenses permitted under criminal due process. Emphasis is placed on both criminal statues and case law. Prerequisites: CRIM 200 or consent or instructor. (as offered)
