Catalog description

This course is designed to provide students with knowledge about criminal justice and social policies regarding drugs. Specifically, students will gain an understanding of the extent of illegal drug use and drug policies in the United States, the social and political factors that influence the creation of criminal justice and social policy, and the effect of drug polices on the people who participate in the illegal drug market. Prerequisite: CRIM 201 or permission of the instructor. (As offered)
