This course explores the nature, extent, and causes of juvenile crime, with specific attention to current explanations for this illicit activity. The role of the juvenile justice system is also addressed in relation to how it is designed for the prevention and control of delinquency. Prerequisites: CRIM 200 or consent of instructor.
