Substance use disorder treatment coordination for school counselors

Catalog description

This class is the third in the SUD series. Students will conduct case studies and identify resources for referral and support for the student¿s return to school. Within the school counselor scope of practice, family system supports will be reviewed. This class will also focus on the need for integration and cooperation among different school professionals (e.g., teachers, school counselors, alcohol and drug counselors, administrative staff, etc).
