Catalog description

This course examines the influence of digitally mediated communication on human communication. It addresses the historical antecedents to our current use of communication technologies and explores how these ever-evolving tools impact our interactions with one another. The goal is to think critically about your communication technology choices (i.e. email, texting, social media) so you can be a more effective and strategic user of these tools. (As offered)
