Catalog description

Students will study the basic theories of interpersonal communication. This will include states of relationship development and deterioration, the effects of trust, openness, empathy, and self-disclosure on interpersonal communication. Students will also learn how contexts such as gender, race/ethnicity, sexuality, and ability affect interpersonal communication. (As offered)
