Catalog description
This course introduces machine learning (ML) concepts, frameworks, and methods. Students will learn about the ML workflow, the selection of appropriate ML techniques/algorithms/approaches, their implementation using ML platforms, and the evaluation of their performance. The emphasis of this course in on applications of machine learning to practical problems. Prerequisites: Junior standing, CIDS 239, and (Math 236 or Math 167); or instructor consent. (Sp)
