Catalog description

This course will introduce students to fundamental concepts of operating systems, principally, Unix and Linux. Students will learn about file system organization, processes and threads. Students will use the C/C++ programming language to access operating systems features such as files, directories, processes, and networks. Prerequisite: CIDS 162 (F)
