Catalog description

An intermediate course in computer programming. Students will learn concepts of programming languages, problem-solving using computation, program analysis, design, implementation, debugging, and testing. Topics include: variables, arrays, conditionals, loops, functions, reading technical documentation, and using code libraries or packages in at least one programming language. Prerequisites: MATH 146 or higher; a 'C' or better in CIDS 161. (F, Sp)
