Catalog description

Separation techniques applied to the analysis of chemicals and biochemicals. Includes work with gas and liquid chromatography, centrifugation, filtration and sample preparation. Emphasis is on the steps involved in developing separation methods, rather than simple replication. Safety goggles are required. Prerequisites: CHEM 237 or CHEM 233 with a C-minus grade or better.
