General Chemistry Laboratory I

Catalog description

This laboratory is the co-requisite companion course to CHEM 111 and meets for two hours each week. Exercises illustrate chemical principles and develop foundational laboratory skills and practices, including laboratory safety and evidence-based reasoning. Topic coverage builds on CHEM 111 with the addition of properties of gases. A scientific calculator and safety goggles are required. Prerequisites: Co-requisite with CHEM 111 Offering Term(s): Fall, SS, Spring
