Catalog description
This course is the second in the general chemistry sequence (CHEM 111/116 and 112/117) for programs requiring one or more years of chemistry. The course covers thermochemistry, chemical kinetics and equilibrium, acid-base chemistry, solubility, thermodynamics and electrochemistry. A scientific calculator is required. Prerequisites: A grade of C- or better in CHEM 111 and CHEM 116. Co-requisite with CHEM 117. (F, Sp, SS)
