Catalog description
Students will conduct laboratory or literature research on a biotechnology-related topic under the direction of a faculty mentor. Students will write a formal scientific paper or thesis on the topic. Oral presentations on the project are required during the first semester of credit. Safety goggles, calculator and laboratory notebook may be required. A maximum of four credits of BIOT 495 may count toward the biotechnology major. Prerequisites: Consent of instructor Offering Term(s): As Offered
