Catalog description

Characteristics of animal populations and their habitats, with emphasis on class discussion of current issues in wildlife management and research. Topics include endangered species management, hunting, predation, law enforcement, population dynamics, analysis of research data, habitat manipulation, and wildlife as a profession. Students will work in teams to formulate a wildlife management plan. Prerequisites: BIOL 150 or 160. (F)
