Catalog description

This course explores the anatomical components and physiological mechanisms of major organ systems (integument, skeletal, articular, muscular, circulatory and lymphatic) of the human organism. Importance is placed on integration of anatomy and physiology, interrelationships of systems, and homeostatic mechanisms and processes of control. The course will provide a solid foundation of human anatomy for students interested in pursuing a career in the medical sciences and biological research. (F, SS)
