This course is designed to provide the student with the principles of word structure in technical terminology. Emphasis is on the meanings of bases, prefixes, and suffixes of scientific, especially biological and medical, importance. This is a web-based course. Prerequisite: BIOL 101, 150 or 160. (F, Sp, SS)
