Examination of the structural organization and functional roles of cellular components, inter-cellular communication, regulation of cellular activities and the laboratory techniques used to study cells. The course emphasizes molecular aspects of eucaryotic cells. Prerequisite: BIOL 150 or BIOL160; CHEM 121 and CHEM122 are recommended. (F, Sp)
