Global Issues of Cancer

Catalog description

This course will introduce the basic cell biology, genetics, and histology of cancers. It will also discuss the risk factors of and current therapies for different types of cancer. The main focus of this course is to examine the correlation between life style and diet with different types of cancers in different cultures and countries. There will be discussions on the cancer care, insurance policies, and social issues related to cancers in different countries as well. (SS)
