Catalog description

An introductory course exploring creative possibilities in the basic materials and techniques used in several printmaking mediums: relief, intaglio, monotype, and lithography or serigraphy. Demonstration and lectures will explore historical and contemporary cultural perspectives related to printmaking. Materials fee is required. Prerequisite: Must have completed or taken concurrently ART 121 or Art 131, or with consent of instructor. (As offered)
