Catalog description

This course explores the visual elements and principles of design and introduces students to the fundamental design concepts related to art making through two-dimensional and three-dimensional hands-on applications. The course will investigate the concepts of emphasis, focal point, pattern, repetition, and contrast through projects that are two-dimensionally directed and study their application towards the three-dimensional.
