Catalog description

This course offers an integrated approach to domesticated companion animal health for species other than dogs and cats: rabbits, ferrets, select small mammals, reptile and avian species. Using a science-oriented approach, course topics focus on preventative health care and well-being through all life stages. Students will develop and hone critical thinking, analysis and summary of health and wellness topics by using the body of peer-reviewed science literature. Prerequisites: ANSC 121 (F, Sp).
