Advanced Agricultural Finance

Catalog description

This course will build on principles of agricultural financial management to provide a more in-depth exploration of agricultural finance concepts. The course will span topics including the implications of the macroeconomic environment for farm financial decision-making, methods of investment analysis, valuation of a farm and its underlying assets, leasing land and non-real estate assets, tax management, business organization and equity capital (if time permits), and personal finance. Prerequisites: AGEC 365. (F)
