Catalog description
This course focuses on preparing for student teaching and the first year of teaching. It includes visiting an assigned K-12 classroom to observe, participate in the learning activities of the classroom, teach several lessons, and evaluate student learning in addition to on-campus class time. It is required for majors leading to a teaching license for grades 4-12 or K-12. It is recommended to take this course concurrently with a methods course. (Clinical experience: 80 hours) Components: Class Prereqs/Coreqs: P: admission to the School of Education and TEACHING 3320 Typically Offered: Fall - Spring
