Reading & Social Studies Practicum

Catalog description

This immersive practicum experience provides elementary education majors with a semester-long, 80-hour field experience supporting literacy and/or social studies instruction in an elementary classroom. Students will support learning through whole group, small group, and one-on-one instruction. Components: Practicum Prereqs/Coreqs: P: Admission to the School of Education; C: TEACHING 3040 and TEACHING 4190 Typically Offered: Fall - Spring
