Catalog description

This course is designed to provide an overview of basic pharmacology and drug classification of recreational and illicit drugs. Included in this approach will be coverage of addiction theory, prevention and intervention policies. Particular attention will be spent on evaluating biological, psychological and social factors associated with substance use. Components: Class Cross Offering: CRIMLJUS 4840 Prereqs/Coreqs: P: CRIMLJUS 1130 , PSYCHLGY 1130 or SOCIOLGY 1030 and junior standing; a biology course is recommended Typically Offered: Fall
