International Security: War & Revolution

Catalog description

This course explores war, revolution, and revolutionary movements as social phenomena and potential threats to international security. The course will study the classical theories of war and revolution and examine them through various historical, modern, and contemporary transnational case studies, examining fundamental questions such as when and why wars and revolutions happen and how contemporary theories help us better understand these outcomes and their effects globally.
