Catalog description

Designed for music majors planning to attain licensure on the 6-12 choral music certification. Emphasis centered on philosophies, methods of teaching, organizing, and administering jazz choirs, show choirs, musicals, and gender-based choirs. Special attention is given to working with the middle level student, especially in terms of voice change issues and the dynamics of working with that age of student.
