Catalog description

An examination of a genre of music indigenous to the U.S. Detailed study of all major periods of rock and roll, including Rockabilly, RB, Folk Music, the British Invasion, the California Sound, Heavy Metal, Alternative, and Rap will form the core of this course, which will also show how rock and roll has reflected societal and cultural trends in the U.S. since 1950. Components: Class GE: HA Humanities & Arts, HA-A Arts Typically Offered: Fall - Spring - Summer
