This course is intended to provide an introduction to numerical methods. Topics will include computer arithmetic, solving nonlinear equations, numerical linear algebra, interpolation and curve fitting, and numerical differentiation and numerical integration. Components: Class Prereqs/Coreqs: P: MATH 3230 with a "C-" or better and COMPUTER 1430 with a "C-" or better Typically Offered: Spring - odd year
