Athletic Injury and Rehabilitation

Catalog description

This course offers an introductory look at the field of sports medicine including injury pathology, epidemiology, and general medical conditions and illness. Students will also gain an understanding of the prevention, recognition, treatment, and rehabilitation of common athletic injuries and instruction in the use of protective sports equipment, including instruction on common taping techniques.
