Application and Methods in Health

Catalog description

This course explores the foundations, methods, and professional practices of health education in the fields of health promotion and exercise science. Students will examine leading health behavior theories—including the Health Belief Model, Transtheoretical Model, and Social Cognitive Theory—and apply them to real-world settings. Emphasis is placed on the design, implementation, and evaluation of health education programs that promote positive behavior change across diverse populations.
