Individual Sports

Catalog description

During this course physical education majors will develop an understanding of the teaching methods, cues and assessments used in teaching individual sports to middle level and high school students, as they relate to the standards of National Association for Sport and Physical Education (NASPE). Examples of individual sports which could be covered: badminton, bowling, golf, martial arts, racquet sports, tennis, track and field, wrestling. Components: Class Typically Offered: Spring
