Catalog description

Students will be able to recognize and care for life-threatening respiratory or cardiac emergencies in infants, children, and adults. To provide the student with the knowledge and skills necessary in an emergency to help sustain life and to minimize pain until professional medical help arrives. Students who successfully complete this class will become certified through the American Red Cross for 2 years. Components: Class Typically Offered: Fall - Spring
