Catalog description

“Intro to AI Applications” provides an accessible and hands-on introduction to the foundations and practical uses of Artificial Intelligence (AI) across disciplines. Emphasis is placed on application rather than theory. Students will practice using AI systems for content creation, data interpretation, and workflow design through guided labs and interactive exercises. Ethical and responsible AI use is embedded throughout the course, helping students evaluate bias, privacy issues, and model reliability (“hallucinations”). The course aims to equip students—regardless of major—with practical AI literacy skills and a critical understanding of the societal implications of intelligent systems.
