This course covers theory and methodology related to the collection and preservation of physical evidence. Foundational concepts, including the chain-of-command, custody, evidence management, and the organization and maintenance of property rooms will be emphasized. Ethical considerations related to evidence collection, the chain-of-custody, and evidence management will also be discussed.
