Catalog description

This course is the study of Earth's ever-changing landscapes. Students will analyze how landforms evolve through tectonic, hydrologic, atmospheric, and anthropogenic forces. Topics will expand upon concepts of the lithosphere that are introduced in ENVSS 1040 . Relevance to environmental change and human impacts on natural systems is stressed. Regional field trips are required. Components: Laboratory, Class GE: NSWL Nat Sci + Lab Prereqs/Coreqs: P: ENVSS 1040 or GEOLOGY 1140 or BIOLOGY 1650 or BIOLOGY 1750 or Instructor Consent Typically Offered: Fall
