An algebra-based introduction to concepts of thermodynamics and heat transfer. Coverage will include first and second law efficiencies, vapor compression and power cycles, and introductory applications of heat transfer. Components: Class Prereqs/Coreqs: P: "C-" or better in MATH 2450 or MATH 2530 or mathematics proficiency level of 40, and "C-" or better in CHEMSTRY 1050 or higher Typically Offered: Spring
