Cybersecurity Capstone Project

Catalog description
This culminating course provides students with an opportunity to integrate and apply their accumulated knowledge and skills to a comprehensive, real-world cybersecurity project. Working in teams, students will research, design, implement, and present a cybersecurity solution addressing a complex and realistic problem. Emphasis is placed on project management, risk management, professional communication and documentation, ethical and legal considerations, and adherence to cybersecurity standards and best practices. The course concludes with a formal written report, system demonstration, and oral presentation evaluated by faculty and/or industry professionals. Components: Field Studies, Laboratory, Class Prereqs/Coreqs: P: C- or better in CYB 3930 Typically Offered: Spring
