This course will cover the conceptions of and theories explaining juvenile delinquency; the juvenile offender in the juvenile justice system; the philosophy, structure, and function of juvenile courts; the legal rights of accused juveniles; the methods of preventing juvenile delinquency; and the methods of rehabilitating juvenile offenders.
