Subsurface exploration planning and determination of appropriate soil properties. Introduction to ground improvement methods (such as micoropiles, vibro-compaction, dynamic compaction, vertical drains, stone columns, deep soil mixing.) Components: Class Prereqs/Coreqs: P: a "C" or better in CIVILENG 3740 and a "C-" or better in CIVILENG 3140 Typically Offered: Fall
