This course is designed to provide a student with some of the academic and social skills that are necessary to successfully complete their academic career specially in the area of chemistry. Topics include important study skills necessary to maintain success in college-level study, student rights responsibilities, campus diversity issues, academic policies, academic advising and registration, time management, and campus and departmental resources for students.
