Topics include strategic uses of IT, databases, data warehouses, decision support, artificial intelligence, e-commerce, systems development, IT infrastructure, security, emerging trends, and the inherent social, ethical and legal considerations. A key component of this course is the utilization of a popular spreadsheet program used extensively in business to learn and demonstrate spreadsheet design and data analysis for decision making.
