Catalog description

Designed as the 2nd of a two-semester sequence, this course continues the exploration of the structure (anatomy) and function (physiology) of the human body from a systematic approach. This semester includes the study of the muscular system, cardiovascular system, lymphatic system, respiratory system, digestive system, urinary system, reproductive system and early development. Throughout the semester systems will be analyzed at the molecular, cellular, tissue, organ and organ system levels. This course is designed for science majors. Components: Class, Laboratory Prereqs/Coreqs: P: BIOLOGY 2140 (grade of "C-" or better required) Typically Offered: Fall - Spring
