Covers the principles of the coordination chemistry of the transition metals. Emphasis on molecular orbital theory and its relevance to spectroscopy, magnetic properties, and reactivity of transition metal compounds. Discusses bioinorganic and organometallic chemistry as well as catalysis, the solid state, and relevant spectroscopic techniques.
