Catalog description
In this course students explore the types of jobs in which sociology majors can work and the marketable skills to get them. Students research careers of interest to them in terms of job descriptions, growth and income outlooks, and the skills required. Internships and current job opportunities are investigated, and resumes, cover letters, and job applications are developed. Prerequisite: SOC 110 or SOC 120 or SOC 225 or CRIM 115 . Pass/Fail grading. Offered Occasionally.
