An overview of the impact of genetics on individual differences in human behavior in relation to the environment. Topics include basic molecular genetics and neurobiology, quantitative genetics, and behavior genetic methodologies. We critically examine important findings from the field of behavior genetics on a variety of dimensions of human behavior, ranging from IQ to clinical disorders, such as bipolar disorder, depression, and schizophrenia.
